Easy Mac & Cheese

Move over blue and orange box, this recipe will become your kids’ new favorite!!

Easy Mac & Cheese

  • 8 ounces macaroni noodles cooked
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp dehydrated onions or onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or combination of cheese – we like sharp cheddar and parmesan)

In a saucepan melt the butter. Add flour and cook until the mixture is bubbly and starts to brown. Add the salt, pepper, and onions and stir well.

Add the milk and stir until the mixture begins to thicken.

Add the cheese and stir until the cheese is melted.

Stir in the cooked noodles and serve with additional shredded cheese if desired.
