French Crepes

My husband spent time in Belgium so we are pretty picky when it comes to crepes! This is our favorite recipe!

French Crepes

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • pinch salt

Blend the eggs in a blender until light. Then add milk and mix until combined. Add the flour slowly and then blend in the butter and salt.

Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes before cooking. Stir batter to help remove air bubbles. (Do not skip this step!)

To cook. Heat a crepe pan over the stove to medium-high heat. Pour 2-3 tbsp of the batter into the center of the pan. Tip the pan gently from side to side so the batter covers the bottom of the pan.

When the edges begin to pull up flip the crepe over and cook on the other side.
