The BEST Hot Fudge Sauce

This hot fudge sauce is so thick and rich! It is perfect over ice cream or just eat it straight out of the jar!

Hog Fudge Sauce

  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 6 ounces chocolate chopped (I use Guitttard French Vanilla)
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Bring heavy cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and half of the chopped chocolate to a boil over medium heat.

Boil, stirring constantly until the chocolate is melted.

Reduce heat and low boil for 5 minutes.

Turn off heat and add butter, vanilla, and remaining chocolate and stir until smooth.

Cooled sauce can be stored in a jar in the refrigerator for several weeks. Reheat in microwave for 10-15 seconds, stir.
