Sesame Chicken
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
Place cornstarch in a small ziplock bag. Cut chicken into 1-inch cubes. Place chicken inside the bag and shake until well coated.
In a skillet heat 1 tbsp oil. Add chicken and cook, turning once, until almost done. Add cooked sauce and simmer for 3 minutes. Serve with rice, steamed broccoli, and sesame seeds.
Sauce:
- 1 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
In a small pan combine all ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce boils and turns opaque in color. Set aside.
